I have drawn for Ruth for a long time now. My first book for her was David and Goliath. When she asked me to draw the creation story, I began right away. On my way from a book signing in Arkansas, I began the process of drawing the tree at the center of Eden.

This project was for author Juan Carlito Mendoza. He required a dynamically designed front cover with bold orange and blue colors, as well as a fully formatted and edited book with sheet music.
What Happened to Zoey?
A book about grieving the loss of a pet. This book was hand-drawn digitally. The author wanted the use of pastel colors, with isolated moments.
Coqui-Kokee Book Illustration
I assisted author Walter Feshold in bringing this bilingual book to life, teaching about the migration of the Coqui from Puerto Rico to Hawaii. Illustrated using Photoshop.

Sergio George is a Grammy Award-winning producer. When asked to design his book cover for ¡ATACA, SERGIO! I could not turn it down.
Illustration - Bed Time at the Zoo
Young author Evie Billingsley asked for fun illustrations for her young readers. Her story was a great way to help young readers understand their feelings of anger, anxiety, and sadness, and navigate them. I also had the opportunity to create an imprint logo for her book publishing. The process included very straightforward branding guidelines and design.
